Every four years, we organize a cultural and family gathering event called "quadrennial convention". In each of these conventions, a theme is developed with a focus and emphasis on the social and economic, educational development of the Oka -Akoko. The goal is to produce, discuss, plan and implement long term solutions to some of the challenges faced by the community. With keynote speakers coming from outside the Union the convention also strives to provide a home away from home for members to meet one on one.
